About Me...

I am a scientist and a Carnatic Singer!

I am 19 years old and a junior at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), double majoring in materials science and computer science.

Notably, out of my numerous accolades, I was the 2010 National Geographic Bee Champion.

Now I am trying to make geographical change once again with my new Artificial Intelligence (AI): ConserWater. It is a free technology that can predict exactly how much water farmers need to give to their crops. Check out www.conserwater.com today!

Music journey:
From 2004 I started learning from Shri K.N Sashikiran and Shri P. Ganesh who sing together as Carnatica Brothers. They taught me the basics, several varnams, krithis and to sing with Gamagam and mano dharmam.
Now, I am learning the paramparic "Musiri" style under Shri R.N.Thyagarajan sir of the great Rudrapatnam family. Thyagarajan sir is teaching me to do Aalapana and Kalpana Swaras in the very traditional and pious way. He is also teaching a lot of rare ragams and krithis.
I was fortunate to have sung in several competitions in Chennai and Bangalore and won several prizes. My concert journey began in the “Thiruvaiyaru in Bangalore – 2006”. I was lucky to have given several Kutcheris in Chennai , Bangalore and in USA.
